ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Taylor!

Where do I begin?

For those who do not know me, my name is Taylor Danos Gravois. I am a wife, mama to be, photographer, and lifelong creative. Since I was young, I have always been drawn to the arts. Whether it was dancing, painting, designing, or photography, creating has always been my peaceful place. It is a space where I can let my mind wander, express myself, and bring ideas to life.

In my late high school years, I discovered a love for photography. What started as taking photos of friends, families, and babies quickly became something I truly enjoyed. Throughout college and early adulthood, I would pick up my camera whenever I had the chance, but life often pulled me in different directions. While I loved photography, I had not yet found my "why."

Like many people, I often questioned whether pursuing photography as a career was realistic. Wouldn't it be easier to have a traditional job and avoid the uncertainty of running a business? Every time I considered taking photography seriously, the doubts seemed louder than the dream.

That all changed in 2023.

On July 20, 2023, my fiancé, Trey Anthony St. Pierre, unexpectedly passed away just two months after our engagement. We had spent seven wonderful years together, building a life and dreaming about our future. Losing him changed me forever.

Through my grief, I found myself turning to photographs and videos more than ever before. They became priceless treasures, allowing me to revisit moments and memories that I never wanted to lose. It was during that season of my life that I finally found my purpose.

I began praying and asking God what He was calling me to do. The answer became clear. I was meant to preserve memories for others.

Photography is so much more than taking pictures. It is preserving laughter, milestones, relationships, and moments that pass by far too quickly. Every photograph tells a story, and every story deserves to be remembered.

Today, I am blessed to be married to my husband, Benjamin Gravois, who helped me find joy and hope again. Together, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our sweet baby girl at the end of this year. Our home is also filled with love from our two Golden Retrievers, Marley and Emery, and our cats, Dolly and Binx.

God has blessed our family in countless ways, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve others through photography.

Whether I am capturing a growing family, a graduating senior, a wedding day, or a simple moment in between, my goal is always the same. I want to create images that become treasured memories for generations to come.

I am honored to be a small part of your story, and I cannot wait to help preserve the moments that matter most to you.

XOXO,

Taylor
